Your First Week
New to Hub? Here are some good things to try in your first week.
Things to try
-
[ ] Log in and explore your Space. Get familiar with the dashboard, member list, and main navigation.
-
[ ] Create a task. Go to the Tasks section and create a small task for yourself. See Creating a Task.
-
[ ] Leave a comment. Find an existing task and leave a comment. Try mentioning a colleague with
@name. -
[ ] Invite someone. Ask your administrator to invite a colleague to your Space, or invite them yourself if you have permission. See Inviting Someone to Your Space.
-
[ ] Browse a data table. Look at one of the structured lists (employees, companies, trades, etc.). Try sorting, filtering, and exporting to CSV. See Data Tables.
-
[ ] Check your notification preferences. Open Settings and choose which notification channels you want: email, in-app bell, phone push. See Notifications.
-
[ ] Upload a file. Attach a file to a task or a comment.
-
[ ] Change the appearance. If you're an administrator, customize the Space's logo, accent colour, or layout. See Appearance and Branding.
-
[ ] Switch Spaces. If you belong to more than one Space, use Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Linux/Windows) to jump between them.
-
[ ] Ask your administrator about Agents. If your organization uses AI automation, have someone show you how Agents work. See Agents.
-
[ ] Open the Docs. Click your profile menu in the top-right corner and select Docs to browse the full user documentation — glossary, guides, and feature reference.
Going deeper
Once you've tried the basics:
- Build a custom dashboard. Create a dashboard with stats and charts relevant to your work. See Building a Dashboard.
- Define custom fields. Add domain-specific attributes to your records (for example, "Risk Level" or "Funding Stage"). See Adding a Custom Attribute.
- Set up a skill. If you're an administrator, create a scheduled Agent that runs on a repeating schedule. See Setting Up an Agent.
