File Attachments

What it is

You can attach files to tasks and comments. Attachments let you keep reference materials, documents, and supporting files connected to your work.

When to use it

Attach files whenever it helps to have the document or image right there on the task:

  • Attach a contract PDF to a task about signing it
  • Attach a screenshot showing a bug or issue
  • Attach a design mockup to a product task
  • Attach a report related to a review task

Where to find it

Most tasks and comments have an "Attach" button or file icon. Click it to upload.

How it works

Attaching a file:

  1. Open a task or comment.
  2. Click the Attach button (or drag a file into the comment field).
  3. Select a file from your computer.
  4. Wait for upload to complete.
  5. The file appears in the task or comment.

Viewing attachments:

  • Click on an attachment to preview or download it.
  • Attachments stay with the task or comment permanently.

File types:

You can attach any file type: PDFs, images, spreadsheets, documents, videos, etc. Most file types preview inline in Hub.

Limits:

Your organization may have limits on file size and number of attachments per task. Check with your administrator if you run into limits.
